“Outside Readings”. “Outside Readings”. For this journal please use the following sources to create a Works Cited page in MLA format. First find the source in the library database, then identify the type of source (print, electronic, etc.), and then cite it in MLA format. It should be set up like a Works Cited page, with Works Cited at the top in the center, and each source formatted the way it should be formatted in MLA format (indented lines, alphabetized by author’s last name, etc.).
1) The Himes article under "Outside Readings" has all of the source information in it. Please take that information and put it into a citation.
2) Fredrick Harris article on JSTOR about James Baldwin written in 2014.
3) An electronic resource about Langston Hughes in the library catalog (this can be a video, videorecording, streaming video, etc.).
You can use the Purdue Owl MLA or you can let the database cite it for you. Any questions, please do not hesitate to stop by my office!
