Feminist economic theory about the problems that young women face when trying to enter the job market (gender roles, care work etc.)
– Women are seen as less productive than men (many employers now due to the crisis, expect their employees to do more than their qualifications which might include physical work and believe that women will not be able to handle such situations )
– Women are perceived to take care of the family hence will be less productive at work
– Women are affiliated with their role as mothers hence they are expected by employees to be less productive at work
