I have also attached a sample of ANOTHER PAPER WITH another topic (the topic is not related to this one, it is just a sample of a PAPER with critiques, that way you know what I am looking for in terms of a PAPER) (act on those comments of the draft, when writing the paper for this topic) please read all files attached carefully before starting this paper. Please attend to the the outline and draft. Remember your primary text is Luna which is written in Punjabi that is why its essential for you to understand Punjabi and be able to read it and understand it. The primary source Luna comes in two parts, i’ve labeled it for you as well as the english translation for it does too, which I have also attached and labeled for you.
Topic/ Proposal is stated below:
Proposal;
Topic: How binaries are used to characterize Luna as “bad” Batalvi’s Luna (1965) exemplifies how women tend to be judged for their actions much more quickly than the men in extramarital affairs. In this play, Iccharan seeks to justify the actions of her husband by blaming it on his much younger wife, Luna. In her conversation with her servant Goli, she discusses how Luna has placed a ‘spell’ on her husband. Even in contemporary society, there is an expression coined among Punjabi speakers that a woman should not be like Luna. There is a negative connotation surrounding Luna’s name that is associated with the breaking up of families, which goes against the gender roles that women play in the family as peacekeepers and the ones who bring the family together. (though the feedback suggests you should probably just stick to the notion of ‘blame’ on women instead of solely on extramarital affairs, check out the outline feedback for what I mean here) So please just stick to the blame notion of women. Reacting to the feedback of the outline and draft are crucial in writing this paper properly and to it’s highest standard. So please do that in order to do well.
Articles Ive attached for you are written below; BUT the draft feedback suggests that you should just stick with BATALVI’S Luna’s text (check out the draft comments to see what I mean here) ;

Like I said your PRIMARY SOURCE is the text in Punjabi which I have also attached, so it would be ideal if you can read Punjabi. I have provided an English translation for it too. Follow the draft’s feedback I attached in terms of utilizing the sources. In the draft’s feedback you will also find a better thesis, please use it to help you write this paper. You HAVE TO use scenes from the primary source in order to make your arguments, page numbers have to be provided as well, and those page numbers need to correspond to the Punjabi text of Luna that I attached not the English one. Thank you.
Before you start this paper PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE DRAFT YOU HAVE TO REACT TO THE FEEDBACK, DO NOT GIVE ME THE SAME PAPER BACK IT ALL HAS TO BE REACTED TO ACCORDINGLY, TO DO WELL FOR THIS PAPER. SO MAKE SURE YOU DO THAT. ALSO WHEN DOING IN TEXT CITATIONS PAGE NUMBERS HAVE TO BE PROVIDED. AND WHEN QUOTING LUNA’S SCNES; MUST have page numbers. Quote from the text and give YOUR translations and the original Punjabi.(THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT).
And when you use the sources, in citation texts provide page numbers as well. Thank you and happy writing 🙂
