I don’t know how to handle this English question and need guidance.
A holiday party was held during the first week of December in the banquet space at an off-property restaurant for the 50 employees who worked in the Rooms Division of a 275-room independent property. The owner of the property paid for the three-course meal and non-alcoholic drinks. Employees were welcome to visit the restaurant bar and pay for alcoholic beverages.
At the end of the dinner, there were five hourly employees who remained to hang out at the restaurant bar. After a couple of rounds of drinks, Craig, an hourly front desk agent became agitated and yelled racial slurs at John, another hourly front desk agent, as he departed the restaurant.
The next day, John filed a complaint with Human Resources.
