When a person chooses a major, there is an argument whether or not a person should choose to major in something they are passionate about, or if they should major in something practical. Sometimes they are not mutually exclusive, and in that situation they have love for what they do already. However, in order for a person to be successful in any job, they must have some aspect of passion for what they do. They might just be passionate about it because they use it to support a family. Basically, no matter what (if they choose a practical career or a career that might not bring in very much money, but they are passionate about) a person must have an element of passion in their career in order to be successful.
